خطأ حقيقي أم حرب إعلامية

طالعتنا أخبار التقنية مؤخراً بخبر مفادة وجود خطأ تصنيعي في هاتف iPhone 4 المنتج من قبل شركة Apple. هذا الخطأ يتمثل في عيب في هوائي الهاتف Mobile Antenna و الذي طرحة أحد مهندسي الشركة قبل الإنتهاء من مرحلة تصميم الجهاز و لكن كلامة قوبل بالتجاهل من قبل رئيس الشركة ستيف جوبز الذي أصر على طرح الجهاز في موعده المحدد يونية 2010.

زبدة الموضوع هل هذا فعلاً خطأ من شركة عملاقة كآبل و التي تتميز منتجاتها بثبات المستوى على مر السنين و ندرة وجود مشاكل من هذا النوع، أم أنها حرب إعلامية بين شركات الهواتف المحمولة.

talk, chat and interact using fring

My sister was talking to me today about an application that she installed in her mobile and was able to chat with her friend. I did not take her talk seriously until she insisted to show me how the application is working. To be honest, I was shocked when I tried this it.

It’s name is fring, and by using it you can chat, talk, and interact with your friends using MSN, Google talk, Skype, ICQ, Twitter, Yahoo, and too many other social internet accounts. Additionally, you can use fring to call fixed line and cell phones using Skype account or any internet voice provider (SIP). I think the amazing part of this application is his ability to under any cell phone brand. This will give the the credit over any other phone client.

Extinction of numeric keypads

It seems that the numeric keypads age is going to extinct, as more than one report from large cellphone companies talk about how the touchscreen and QWERTY keypads are taking over. This change might be because of the new usages of cellphones and increasing the popularity of the SMS, notes, and cell application. Researches said that the usage of SMS has increased 200% in 2008 (compared to 2007), while voice calls has increased by < 5% for the same period. This confirms the theory that business is driven by customers needs and usages.
